The company processes daily at the central distribution warehouse and sends customers and to the points of delivery of more than 70,000 orders on average
The main goal of the project is to reduce manual sorting operations and storage volumes of orders at the delivery site
Additional goals:
- Evaluate the possibilities of optimizing the sorting schedule.
To test the possibilities and assess the prospects of simulation in practice, taking into account the specifics of the company’s business.

RESULTS
The simulation model of the sorting and transfer process for shipment has been implemented
- It is shown the ability to optimize the cost of storing orders in the shipping area without losing the level of customer service
The cost of orders storing and processing in the shipping area has been reduced by 2.5 time
